Description As the innovation center at Vanderbilt University, the Wond'ry (www.theWondry.com) supports a "maker" and entrepreneurial culture that encourages innovation, creativity, and inclusivity. The Wond'ry is a key resource in supporting immersive, interdisciplinary experiences, invention prototyping, new venture development, and creative collisions among Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff. Likewise, the Wond'ry is an initial point of contact for alumni, corporate partners, and local businesses that want to access the Vanderbilt University innovation community. We are seeking a professional, energetic, and hardworking Program Coordinator for Inclusion & Outreach to join as a key member of our team. Reporting to the Program Manager, this Program Coordinator's primary responsibilities will include on-campus outreach to foster inclusivity and further develop collaborations and partnerships with on-campus organizations and individuals while assisting in the oversight and implementation of new and existing programs. This Program Coordinator for the Wond'ry will perform operational and programming duties for the Center. In particular, the Program Coordinator will perform complex duties, to include: Fostering and developing on-campus partnerships and collaborations for the Wond'ry Assist in the development of an overall strategic outreach plan to raise awareness for the Wond'ry and its programs to on-campus current and potential partners – Centers, Student Organizations, Schools, and Individuals – to foster inclusive excellence and collaborations Explore, design, and implement collaboration opportunities, partnerships, and workshops in an effort to promote innovative collaborations and inclusivity Coordinate the design and production of promotional materials to create awareness of specific workshops and events in an effort to motivate cross-campus participation Coordinate the creation of presentations, videos, and other content highlighting these ongoing efforts Social Ventures Initiatives Assist in the creation of programming and workshops for our Social Ventures Pillar Program Oversee ongoing collaborations and future collaborations involving social venture initiatives with organizations across campus and in the external community Develop deep partnerships with on-campus organizations including Turner Family Center, Office of Active Citizenship and Service, and Design as an Immersive Vanderbilt Experience to support and co-promote their events and activities and explore potential future collaborations. Then help oversee these identified collaborations through to fruition Oversee this overall pillar program and ensure that activities are well-supported and well-received by participants Provide daily support to ensure Wond'ry workshops, events, partners, and staff are well-supported Oversee Wond'ry related events (both organically and third party led) held at the Wond'ry including, but not limited to, speaker series, seminars, hackathons, business plan competitions and other related entrepreneurial endeavors to ensure their smooth operation Manage logistics for events (prepping for, setting up, and managing the take down of events) Assist with the day-to-day operations as well as the formulation and execution of long term projects and initiatives for the center Assist with the creation of Key Performance Metrics tracking information, feedback surveys, and reports Participate in weekly team meetings and biannual strategic planning sessions Co-manage student ambassadors/ intern program Other duties as assigned Preferred skills and experience Positive, energetic, and have a scrappy "can-do," proactive entrepreneurial attitude with a passion for innovation and creativity Interest in and commitment to service, social impact and the common good Celebration of and commitment to inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility Knowledge of the social sector, nonprofit world or social impact field Experience successfully developing
