The GI is composed of small and large work teams focused on different projects that are all interrelated. The Front Office Coordinator provides core administrative services and expands office efficiency and effectiveness to ensure all teams receive a consistent level of professional administrative support.
Under general direction, the Front Office Coordinator is the face of the GI and ensures that front office operations run smoothly and efficiently. Main responsibilities may include greeting visitors, scheduling meetings, answering phone calls and email inquiries, and providing high-level executive assistance to GI management. The incumbent will undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks and will have an integral role in ensuring that our office operations are successful in supporting other business activities. An understanding of work implications, the ability to make recommendations for solutions, and the capability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments is essential.
An excellent Front Office Coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills who is comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.
Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and processes including workflow efficiency using word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and critical thinking.
Skill in managing sensitive and confidential information and situations.
Excellent interpersonal and work leadership skills to provide guidance to administrative students.
Proven experience as office coordinator or in a similar role as customer service representative.
