Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business Department of Information Systems, Operations Management & Law invites applicants for a tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate level beginning in Fall 2018. Candidates must possess a doctorate (or be ABD) in information systems from an AACSB accredited school. Candidates must also provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and a well-defined research program. The typical course load includes 6 classes per academic year with a one course reduction each year for the first two years. We seek candidates with a special interest in Cyber Security and programming languages such as Java, Python or R. These courses will be taught in the undergraduate and graduate programs including the MBA and MS in Data Science. Research expectations are realistic and high quality research is strongly encouraged and supported. An appreciation for the importance of education in the Jesuit tradition is also desirable.
