Cycle for Survival is seeking a passionate, highly motivated, hard-working Special Events Manager.
Working directly with Cycle for Survival’s Manager of Leadership Giving and Corporate Sponsorship, you will be responsible for managing the day to day efforts of the Leadership Giving program.

Provide an extraordinary, highly personalized level of customer service to the devoted and growing Cycle for Survival Battle Trust
Create/maintain tracking system for the Battle Trust program
Handwrite thank you notes; draft certain grant proposals
Manage program reporting
Research, identify and prioritize prospective members of the Battle Trust
Provide support for events, research updates, and prospective giving opportunities
Support the planning and execution of Orange Room (VIP suite) at signature rides
You love fundraising and want to learn more about it
You enjoy working with people and building strong relationships
You are highly detail oriented and capable of handling multiple high volume projects and relationships simultaneously
You are a team player who takes significant pride in your individual success, as well as the success of the team
You aren’t afraid to set goals and create strategies to achieve them
You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proven success in building relationships
Previous experience in fundraising, sales, communications, sales or account management

Cycle for Survival is the national movement to beat rare cancers where 100 percent of every donation funds rare cancer research. About half of all cancer patients are fighting a rare cancer, and they often face limited or no treatment options. Since 2007, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $140 million through its signature indoor team cycling events across the U.S. to help fund pioneering rare cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which owns and operates Cycle for Survival.
