Provide individual, couples and group counseling, assessment and crisis intervention services to CWU students, both individually and in consultation with counselors, medical providers and the Director of the Clinic.
Provide training and clinical supervision to doctoral level interns and assist with the continued planning and development of the APA accredited internship program.

Function as an active member of the Training Team by: - Assisting with continued planning and development of the APA Fully accredited internship program. - Providing seminar trainings and weekly clinical supervision to doctoral level interns. - Reviewing and sign off on intern’s clinical notes. - Reviewing recordings of counseling sessions conducted by - Actively participating in Training Team meetings and peer consultation between supervising psychologists.

PhD. Or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or combined program by start date.
Successful completion of a supervised doctoral internship by start date.
License eligible in Washington State by start date. Continuation of employment is contingent upon obtaining Washington State Licensure as a Psychologist within 24 months of hire date.
Experience and proven competency working with multicultural and other diverse populations.
Ability to provide brief and focused counseling.
Experience facilitating counseling groups.
Experience providing risk assessment and crisis response.
Experience working as part of a collaborative, team-based approach to clinical services in a fast-paced work setting.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and group communication skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or combined program accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Successful completion of a supervised doctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) with a minimum of 2000 hours.
Professional counseling experience working in a university/college counseling center.
Education, training and experience in providing:
A variety of workshops, outreach presentations and training for students and staff development.
Clinical supervision to doctoral interns.
Psychodiagnostic and personality assessment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with others.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to uncertainty and frequent changes.
Ability to consistently be at work and on time, follow instructions (verbal and written), respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.

Salary: Dependent upon qualifications and experience
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an integrated medical and counseling clinic. Exposure to communicable disease and infection may occur. The majority of the work will occur within this setting with frequent in-person interactions. It is essential to be able to remain at a desk/computer work station for prolonged periods of time, perform extensive data entry and other computer-related tasks and create/maintain filing systems for departmental records. Some evening or weekend work and/or occasional travel may be required.
