Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics has an outstanding opportunity for a part time, 80%FTE Program Operations Specialist. This position will serve as the Program Manager for the Cambis Palliative Care Training Center, which is part of "Building on Success, Advancing the Cambia Quality Metrics Program and the Cambia Palliative Care Training Center", a 3 year, $2.5 million effort.
Manage the training center to accomplish the aims established in the grant.
Establish 3 regional training hubs in 3 different states, including identifying the sites, finding leaders at each location, identifying faculty and consultants, establishing agreements and procedures for each site. Manage marketing and promotion, including establishing a strong social media presence. Establish networking among the sites and with regional stakeholders.
Develop a faculty development program at each facility, training the instructors, identifying training materials and resources, and ensuring sites have adequate program support.
Oversee enrollment, conduct of training and the support provided at the sites, manage budgets, and recordkeeping. Work with UW Advancement on scholarship programs.
Participate in quantitative and qualitative evaluations of the total program, make recommendations for improvement, submit required reports, contribute to dissemination of results. Participate in strategic planning of additional programs consistent with the mission.

Masters degree in health care, education, business or related fields Equivalent experience can substitute for degree requirement.
Experience managing educational, healthcare or research programs. Experience working on a team with a mission to improve existing services or programs. Strong leadership, organizational, communications, critical thinking skills. Experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Demonstrated ability to improve diversity within the organization and responsiveness to diverse populations.
Experience in palliative care programs or workplaces. Experience in medical education, continuing education or academic settings.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Travel and extended hours will be required approximately quarterly.
