Northwestern Medical Center seeks a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible Addiction Medicine Physician to join our Comprehensive Pain Management program. The ideal candidate would have the knowledge and skills to provide prevention, screening, intervention and treatment related to substance use disorders and addictions. Our program provides a team-based approach with other physicians and with our community partners. We work closely with our community partners, such as the Howard Center, NCSS, probation and parole, and primary care providers to ensure the best treatment plan is coordinated for all participants. Our program works aggressively in our community to open and maintain access to care. In addition to utilizing Buprenorphine, we are also integrating Naltrexone into our treatment regimen.
The NMC Comprehensive Pain Management program operates at our Catherine Street location, in the historic St. Albans downtown. This outpatient clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is within walking distance of many quaint shops and restaurants.
