The University of Washington Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics and Hospital Medicine & Seattle Children's Research Institute, Center for Child Health, Behavior, and Development are accepting applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor, WOT rank in the faculty-scientist track. We are seeking applicants interested in engaging in health services and quality of care research. Applicants must have a doctorate degree (MD or Ph.D., or foreign equivalent), Board Certification in Pediatrics (MDs only), and formal post-graduate training in Health Services Research, Health Policy, Epidemiology, or Related Fields. Applicants should have a proven track record of sustained extramural grant funding and scholarly productivity in their area of research focus. The Center for Child Health, Behavior and Development will provide state-of-the-art research infrastructure, access to world-class collaborators, and dedicated space for conducting research. The Division of General Pediatrics and Hospital Medicine will provide clinical and teaching opportunities at Seattle Children's Hospital and in a network of primary care clinics affiliated with the University of Washington Department of Pediatrics and Seattle Children's Hospital.In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H1-B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
