The Electronic Trading Technology team in Hong Kong is searching for an enthusiastic FIX specialist to join the client on-boarding team who works closely with Macquarie's equity trading business, particularly electronic execution (EE) services. Equity Trading is a global equity and equity derivative trading desk that combines delta one arbitrage trading strategies under one continuous global risk structure and P&L umbrella. Traders on the desk in Asia, Europe and America leverage in-house developed real-time trading applications and algorithms to actively manage trading risks and to execute on opportunities in the market.
In this exciting role, you will:
Work proactively in resolving day-to-day BAU projects with various business desks directly
Partner closely with the trading desk to bring in new revenue (new client on-boarding) and implement enhancements for existing clients
Be responsible for end to end delivery - requirements, co-ordination with various internal teams, testing and implementation to deliver solutions to EE desk.
Participate in platform renovation - client migration and handle communications for platform updates
Work within a global team of motivated and talented FIX specialist to deliver quality solutions in a demanding business environment.
Provide second level of production support to ensure high availability of the trading systems
Deliver to agreed constraints of time, effort and scope.
To apply for this role, you must:
Have 2+ years of solid experience in a banking environment, preferably equity trading business
Possess a tertiary education in technology and/or related disciplines
Work well under pressure, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
