Towson University is currently accepting applications for a Coordinator of Student Activities.The Coordinator of Student Activities is part of a team charged with developing programs and services designed to facilitate student involvement and enhance the overall student experience through campus programs and services. The Coordinator is responsible for the advisement of the Campus Activities Board and other traditional Student Activities programs.
Advise the Campus Activities Board. Advisement consists of playing an integral role in all operations, planning, and implementation of CAB events. Coordinate and implement campus wide programming initiatives such as TU Holiday Celebration, Destress Fest, and Day Time programming. Serve as campus expert of contracts. Work with student organizations and area departments to manage resources for program development and develop contracts. Sit on University Wide Committees. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience. Knowledge and evidence of social justice, diversity, and inclusion. Demonstrated experiences of working in a diverse setting. In addition, problem solving, program management, and event planning skills are all required. Evening and weekend hours required. Master’s degree preferred. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate, and the results may affect employment
Salary and Benefits $48,001 annually and full university benefits that include excellent health, life insurance, and retirement plans; tuition remission; and 22 days of annual leave, 14 holidays, personal and sick days.
